Introduction and Performance
The Vivo NEX S is an upgraded variant of the Vivo NEX A. In terms of design, there aren't many alterations. The only difference is that the NEX S packs a more powerful processor and ships with more RAM. One of the unique points of the smartphone is that it features an under-display fingerprint reader. Also, the handest features facial recognition which ensures that the smartphone can be unlocked by just glancing at the screen.


To enable smooth and top-notch performance, the Vivo NEX S is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset and 8GB of RAM. The chipset allows smooth sailing even while you work on multiple apps at the same time or indulge in graphics-intensive games like PUBG and Asphalt 8.
Display and Storage


The Vivo NEX S flaunts the same 6.59-inch Full HD+ display which is vivid and reproduces life-like images. The screen is coupled with good viewing angles and also offer decent legibility under bright sunlight. The screen looks bigger thanks to the narrow bezels and should be ideal for gaming or watching videos.


In terms of storage, the Vivo NEX S is bundled with an onboard storage space of 128GB which is fixed and cannot be expanded any further. However, one should not complain much about storage as 128GB is enough to store all the relevant apps and data.
Camera and Platform


The Vivo NEX S ships with dual 12+5-megapixel rear cameras and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. You can also shoot images and record videos in dark conditions thanks to the presence of the dual-tone dual LED flash at the back. The frontal imaging unit can be used for capturing self-portraits and making video calls.

The Vivo NEX S is based on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box.

Loaded with a non-removable Li-Po 4,000mAh battery, the smartphone can easily last for more than a day even for heavy users. Also, you get fast charging support with the Vivo NEX S that ensures that you are not out of power for long.
